Professor Emerita Alexandra Korros, whose field is Russian History, will speak about the Russia-Ukraine situation at the conclusion of the Friday evening service on August 5 at Northern Hills Synagogue. She brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the history and current situation regarding the conflict between Russia and the Ukraine to bear and will illustrate her talk with a series of maps. Professor Korros taught Russian History for many years at Xavier University in Cincinnati. Undoubtedly. Many of us could benefit from a deeper understanding of the history and circumstances that led to the present Ukraine war, and Professor Korros’ talk will be helpful.
