Welcome to Tzofei Tzafon - Northern Scouts!

We are so excited to begin our first Junior Youth Group at Northern Hills Synagogue!

Take a look at the events happening throughout the year and check the events your child/ren would like to attend.

All of the events will take place at Northern Hills unless otherwise noted.

We will spend time getting to know each other in this new group, set our expectations for the year, and do some light planning. 
We'll visit an organization that helps the community, and volunteer with them
We'll delve into design thinking and start planning how we want to redo the youth lounge. We'll discuss the purpose of the youth lounge, and figure out how to make it the perfect space to meet our values as a group.
We'll see the beautiful design made by Julie Pentelnik and paint within her design
Our field trip to IKEA will give us some more ideas about what to put in our youth lounge
We'll enjoy a visit from the Chaverim M'Yisrael, and learn more about Israel
We'll watch a fun movie (TBD) and have popcorn, games, and a relaxing evening together
Each family provides tickets, but assistance is always available. Please reach out if you'd like us to cover your admission.
A lock-in style evening where we build furniture, paint the walls, and finish up the space that we spent all year designing.
