On the first Friday of every month, we bring in Shabbat with a service followed by a special guest speaker.

Rabbi Gary P. Zola will talk about The Sukkah as a Metaphor for the American Jewish Experience at the conclusion of the Friday evening service on October 7 at Northern Hills Synagogue.

Rabbi Zola is the Executive Director of The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA) and Edward M. Ackerman Family Distinguished Professor of the American Jewish Experience and Reform Jewish History at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in Cincinnati, Ohio.
