CABVI (Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Speaker: Patsy Baughn, Community Relations and Development Manager

Learn about this 100-year-old organization, which served more than 4,000 people of all ages
last year, helps people maintain their independence with vision loss by providing low vision
aids, the latest in adaptive equipment, a radio station and industrial programs.

About Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI)
CABVI has been serving people who are blind and visually impaired in Greater
Cincinnati for more than 100 years. Come find out all the ways we help people
maintain independence with vision loss. The presentation includes learning about
prescribed low vision aids and the latest in adaptive equipment as well as
CABVI’s radio station and industries program. CABVI served more than 4,000
people of all ages last year.

About Patsy Baughn, Community Relations and Development Manager
Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 2006-Present
With a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati,
Patsy Baughn has used her writing skills to raise funds for nonprofits for 25
years. She has been the Community Relations and Development Manager at the
Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) for more than
15 years. Her current position includes community relations, fund raising, grant
writing, publicity, and public education.
