Thursday with Klau Library- History of Jewish Printing
Thursday, Aug 22nd 10:00a to 11:15aPrinting became the main method to disseminate information with the invention of Gutenberg’s moveable type printing press in the 15th century. Learn about the development of print culture and Jewish contributions to the craft as this class examines the long history of Hebrew printing. Includes a DIY print-making activity. Taught by Rabbi Edie Yakutis. Find out more about her and her work at rabbiedieyakutis.com This is a unique class that is a part of the 6-month class series from the Klau Library. Every fourth Thursday of the month.
