THIS MONTH, HAZAK FEATURES:
Joe and Sally Lukasik
Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Accordion and Vocals
Joe and Sally Lukasik have been serving the Creative Aging community for many years. This accomplished duo provides a wide array of musical styles, each one focused upon providing an enjoyable and memorable experience for their listeners. Joe (clarinet and tenor saxophone) and Sally (keyboard, accordion and vocals) provide great music for holiday themes, including Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Patriotic events, Oktoberfest, Hannukah celebrations and Christmas programs. Their repertoire includes jazzy interpretations of familiar hits from the Great American Songbook, light classics, New Orleans-fueled traditional jazz (early 20th century), Country hits, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian folk songs, American sing-alongs, and Polkas. They have received glowing reviews from listeners and activities directors. Here is a quote from one our of members: “I recommend Joe and Sally. They do a great job and really connect with the residents.”
Program Description: Familiar American sing-alongs, light classics, jazz hits, holiday music, patriotic tunes and even ethnic folk songs from eastern European countries, including Germany and Russia.
