Join us as we light up the zoo! Celebrate Hanukkah with NHS and the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden with donuts, hot chocolate, music, a special visit from an animal friend and, of course, lighting the zoo's hanukkiah!

Please note: Zoo admission is required. Please let us know if this presents a difficulty for your family as cost should never be a barrier to attending an NHS program!

Schedule

• 4:30-4:45 Watch an interactive Hanukkah-spiel and enjoy Krispy Kreme donuts & hot chocolate in the Treetops event center (see map)
• 4:45-5:15 A visit from an animal friend*
• 5:15-5:30 Menorah lighting at the Gan Shalom (The Garden of Peace)
  Near the Wings of the World exhibit (see map)
• 5:30 Join us back at Treetops or explore the zoo's "Festival of Lights" on your own!

*Cincinnati Zoo Animal Encounters may consist of a snake, lizard, turtle/tortoise, or hissing cockroaches. We are unable to choose an animal for our event,  as it is all up to which animal wants to come out that day!
