A Screening of "The Forgotten Refugees"

A documentary about the mass exodus of the Mizrachi Jews from Arab countries and
Iran in the 20th century, exploring the history and destruction of Middle Eastern and
North African Jewish communities, some of which had existed for over 2,500 years. The
film recounts the stories of joy and of suffering of the nearly one million individuals. The
film testifies to the enormously rich cultures which fleeing Jews left behind.
